Erin is a systems engineer at SRC, Inc. in Syracuse, NY. During her time at SRC she has worked on several intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance programs and chemical biological defense programs. This experience includes modeling and simulation of system performance, algorithm development, requirement and test plan generation, and integration and test of airborne radar systems and chemical-biological defense systems. She has also presented her work on “Computational Performance of Multistage Image Processing for Detecting Targets under Foliage” at the 2016 MSS Tri-Services Radar Symposium in Boulder, CO
She previously worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) as a lab assistant in an Image Processing Laboratory investigating the impact of cancer treatments through image analysis of 3D nuclear histology images of brain tissue.
She has a bachelor’s of science degree in biomedical engineering and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from RPI. As a student, she was a member of the RPI women’s lacrosse team.
